POSITION SUMMARY:

Home Center Support Agents are responsible to provide support for licensed and non-licensed insurance agents at our Retail Home Centers.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Answering questions via phone and email from the Home Centers.

  • Printing insurance applications.

  • Help to facilitate paperwork needed for outside lenders.

  • Set up and correct insurance policies

  • Help maintain licensing compliance.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

    QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School Diploma or GED required. Some college or insurance training would be helpful.

  • A current TN Property and Casualty License preferred. Must obtain license within 90 days of hire if not currently licensed. Continued education is also required.

  • Ability to work well with others in a team environment.

  • Must possess the ability to clearly communicate with customers, peers and superiors.

  • Possess strong verbal and written communication and listening skills.

  • Proven ability to have initiative, good judgement, and the ability to make decisions independently.

  • Problem solving, organizational and follow-up skills.

  • Competent computer skills in both Excel and Word.
