POSITION SUMMARY:

The Ginnie Mae Coordinator exists to package loans into GNMA pools by selecting loans based on GNMA pooling criteria.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Delivers loan data into Ginnie Net for initial certification.

  • Works with Document services to audit and ship investor files for GNMA custodian.

  • Sells GNMA pools to approved bidders by accepting bids and finalizing orders.

  • Works with GNMA custodian and Loan Processing to certify GNMA pools.

  • Provides backup for Accounts Payable and other administrative accounting functions.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent required, college degree preferred.

  • Computer competency with Microsoft Office and good aptitude for Technology and/or programming.

  • Experience with queries and other PC-based applications.

  • Ability to organize, prioritize tasks and maintain high reasoning skills.

  • Strong customer service and communication skills with all levels of the organization.

  • Great attention to detail, solid organizational skills, and self-motivated.

  • Ability to work in a team environment.

    PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 75% of the time.

  • Constantly operate a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a telephone, calculator, copy machine, and computer printer.

  • 90% communication methods completed over the phone. Must be able to exchange accurate information at all times.

  • Ability to identify and assess account status and determine appropriate process.

  • Constantly works in an indoor temperature controlled, sealed window office environment.
