Asset Managers exists to maximize net recovery on foreclosed manufactured homes. They are also responsible for minimizing the loss on repossessed units and home and land foreclosures.


  • Coordinates the refurbishing and remarketing of repossessions through an established dealer network.

  • Markets units to end users through available and approved campaigns provided by the marketing manager.

  • Minimizes and controls losses and expenses incurred as a result of repossessions.

  • Controls and maintains inventory levels.

  • Creates and maintains relationships with dealers.

  • Ensures the company receives good value for services received and homes sold.

  • Displays sound decision making skills by selecting and closely managing quality contractors, vendors, retailers, and realtors.

  • Maintains solid communication by following up and following through with outside contractors and vendors.

  • Cultivates and manages relationships with area realtors to assist in marketing units to end users.

  • Determines new ideas to help improve results.

  • Establishes new relationships and hold vendors accountable.

  • Travels as assigned:

  • Inspects houses and inventory.

  • Meets and coaches our contractors and negotiates terms on refurbishment.

  • Meets with dealers that are selling our houses to explain programs.

  • Finds new contacts in both retailers and contractors.

  • Maintains clear understanding of collection and repossession procedures.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.


  • College degree required.

  • Three years’ experience in the mortgage lending field preferred.

  • Great attention to detail and organizational skills.

  • Ability to communicate effectively and efficiently via phone, email and person to person.

  • Capability of gathering facts accurately, analyze causes, evaluate alternate solutions and arrive at sound conclusions on action to be taken.

  • Ability to manage multiple and/or conflicting responsibilities.


  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 75% of the time.

  • Constantly operate a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a telephone, calculator, copy machine, and computer printer.

  • 90% communication methods completed over the phone. Must be able to exchange accurate information at all times.

  • Ability to identify and assess account status and determine appropriate process.

  • Constantly works in an indoor temperature controlled, sealed window office environment.
