POSITION SUMMARY:

Imaging Scan Clerk is responsible for scanning customer files and documents into IBM’s Kofax validation and Content Manager modules.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Scan incoming files and documents.

  • Keep a detailed list of the files processed.

  • Proof all documents to ensure legibility.

  • Daily maintenance and cleaning of a Kodak scanner.

  • Provide support for our internal customers including Microfilm requests.

  • Assist the department manager and programmers with process improvements for the team.

  • Provide back up support for set-up, auditing and validation of documents.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

    QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent required, some college a plus.

  • Computer competency with Microsoft Office and typing skills at minimum 25 wpm.

  • Strong customer service and communication skills.

  • Great attention to detail, solid organizational skills, and self-motivated.

  • Ability to work in a team environment.

    PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 75% of the time.

  • Constantly operate a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a telephone, calculator, copy machine, and computer printer.

  • Ability to identify and assess account status and determine appropriate process.

  • Constantly works in an indoor temperature controlled, sealed window office environment.
