Legal Affairs Representatives exist to gather information regarding
delinquent accounts and making sound decisions on possible options for
solutions for existing customers. S/he is responsible for working a
daily sequence of accounts with the greatest effort to reduce

Reviews files and collection history to determine best course of

Contacts attorneys, customers, retail, and collection staff.
Exhibits a working knowledge of legal procedures surrounding
foreclosures and repossessions.
Maintains solid follow-up and customer service skills.
Contributes creative ideas on reducing legal issues.
Learns the processes and procedures of the department as well as
outside venues accurately.
Capable of dealing with changes that can and will occur
Ability to learn state specific laws and regulations.
Performs other duties as assigned.
High School Diploma or Equivalent Required, College a plus.
Basic computer skills with ability to type at least 25 wpm.
Ability to communicate effectively and efficiently via phone, email
and person to person.
Capable of gathering facts accurately, analyze causes, evaluate
alternate solutions and arrive at sound conclusions on action to be
Ability to manage multiple and/or conflicting responsibilities.
Great attention to detail and organizational skills.
