Welcome Call Agents exists to contact new customers and welcome them to
Vanderbilt Mortgage and Finance, Inc.
Provides excellent customer service skills.
Verifies loan data and customer information using a standard
Understands and explains escrow and loan types.
Answers any questions that the customer may have and gives
information to contact for further questions.
Documents service issues and forwards complaint forms to the
appropriate retail sales associate.
Initiates Customer Satisfaction surveys.
Promotes teamwork and call center success.
Promotes company image through professional service and actions.
Performs other duties as assigned.
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Computer competency with Microsoft Office and typing skills at
minimum 25 wpm.
Great attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to communicate effectively and efficiently via phone, email
and person to person.
Exhibits a “can do” attitude and has the ability to work in a team
Experience in a call center environment preferred, but not
Must be able to remain in a stationary position 75% of the time.
Constantly operate a computer and other office productivity
machinery, such as a telephone, calculator, copy machine, and
90% communication methods completed over the phone. Must be able to
exchange accurate information at all times.
Ability to identify and assess account status and determine
Constantly works in an indoor temperature controlled, sealed window
