The Internship’s mission is to provide real work experience in a professional setting while also serving as an ambassador for Vanderbilt Mortgage and Finance, Inc. We want to challenge, engage, and stimulate professional growth that will help program participants further prepare for their futures.


  • Build relationships with Internship Planning Team, Managers and other team members

  • Participate in Internship Team Building activities

  • Learn the day to day activities and job duties for an Account Representative

  • Gain real life work experience for the corporate setting

  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures

  • Perform other duties as assigned


  • Currently enrolled in College/University

  • Junior or Senior

  • Maintains a 3.5 GPA or higher

  • Basic computer skills with ability to type at least 25 wpm

  • Ability to communicate effectively and efficiently via phone, email and person to person

  • Great attention to detail and organizational skills

  • Ability to work in a team environment


  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 75% of the time

  • Constantly operate a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a telephone, calculator, copy machine, and computer printer
