Title: MPC Payment Processor (Non – LO – No Consumer Contact) Job Status: Full Time/Hourly

MPC Payment Processors exists for timely processing of domestic cash receipts (personal checks, bank checks, official checks, and money orders) for several Company transaction types.


  • Reviews and researches individual checks to ensure proper sorting and identification.

  • Distributes correspondence received with checks accurately and efficiently.

  • Communicates with department managers and supervisors, VMF customers, financial institutions, etc. to clarify situations and obtain solutions to problems.

  • Interacts with appropriate individuals to resolve hardware/software issues that interfere with check processing.

  • Maintains excellent customer service skills.

  • Promotes teamwork and mailroom success.

  • Promotes company image through professional service and actions.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.


  • High School Diploma or Equivalent required.

  • Must have excellent follow-up skills.

  • Great attention to detail and organizational skills.

  • Ability to work in a team environment.


  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 75% of the time.

  • Constantly operate a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a telephone, calculator, copy machine, and computer printer.

  • 90% communication methods completed over the phone. Must be able to exchange accurate information at all times.

  • Ability to identify and assess account status and determine appropriate process.

  • Constantly works in an indoor temperature controlled, sealed window office environment.
